Blue Clematis

Hello!  Today's card was inspired by the Blue and White challenge at Double D Challenges and the June Bug challenge at Power Poppy.  I began with the blue and white check ribbon from my stash and the digital printout of Power Poppy Climbing Clematis image.  I colored the flowers and butterflies with Blue and Green Copics and distressed the edges with a Distress Ink.  I added the ribbon to the image and attached to a Gingham embossed Blue Mat and a White Card Base.  The Hello sentiment is from Power Poppy Dahlia stamp set.
Yes, there are blue butterflies and blue clematis....I researched the colors on Google to be sure.

Hello! I'm back with a Father's Day card for my DH-the Dad of my Teddy Bears.  He loves his bears and his red wine....so I kind of combined the two.  Used a precut step card with a wine bottle stamp (won in 2014) from Repeat Impressions and other stamps from PSX and SU.  Heat embossed "Dad" on velum using Black EP  and used Memento Black ink for the rest of the stamping. Finished with Chevron Stripe Washi tape and some strips from Cork.

Flowers in a Frame

Hello!  My card today is for the challenge at Power Poppy -Frame It Up- Simply frame your image on a card, decorate a frame or frame your stamped piece as a bit of home décor.  I printed Power Poppy's Camellias Digi on watercolor paper and colored with Distress Inks Picked Raspberry, Forest Moss, and Peeled Paint using a watercolor brush.  I then framed the image with a decorative 5x7 mat that I purchased for 50 cents and have had in my stash forever.  I then placed this in a brass frame so that I can use  it on a side table as a bit of décor.  I photographed the framed image without the glass to avoid glare.

Easter Card with Printed Cellophane

Hello! Easter will soon be here so I am inspired to make Easter cards. I was thinking of the challenge at Stamp TV when I created this card.  I used a GKD Easter sentiment stamp with Memento Green ink stamped 3 times on white CS, GKD Grass Green CS, and a printed clear cellophane panel that was used for wrapping a pot of flowers.  I also stamped some foliage with GKD Handmade Botanicals stamp with the sentiments. Finished with a pink Washi tape.

Love From the Heart

Welcome!  I was inspired to make this card after watching a Jennifer McGuire video about Distress Ink resist embossing.  I made this card with some old Flourishes stamps From the Heart and Cherry Blossoms (Marcella Hawley).  I stamped the Cherry Blossoms with Versamark and embossed with clear EP on white CS (not the usual Glossy) and sponged with several Distress Inks. I Case'd her "lopsided" (her words) design using white CS cut at an angle and stamped the sentiments with Distress Inks. I even added some Nuvo drops like she did. My addition was die cutting a heart in this layer and adding a smaller die cut heart. I used a Pink Card base to finish.
